Yay for your only digital art ever. I really love how the tail turned out. Looks like it's really underwater, deep down, dappled with lights that still manage to break through the gloom and grace her figure. It would be neat to see if you could add some sort of b/g for it.
I can't remember if you used a reference or not (don't think so), but her shoulder/neck look really awkward and uncomfortable to me.

Nope. no reference...but the wonderful thing is that she's not human and doesn't necessarily have to move in the same ways humans do. For all I know she could have a skeletal system more like a shark...cartilage rather than bone, which would be more flexible. But you are right, it does look a little awkward...oh well.
I have thought of adding a background, but my photoshop has disappeared once again, so it's not really possible.

I like her tail design. Kind of looks like kelp.
The pose is very interesting. It has its own unique shape in silhouette.
