This drawing ended up turning out a bit different from what I had originally planned for it, but I am quite pleased with the final image. The scan isn't all that great, but it is the best I can do here.Related content

Hot stuff! Very cool. I love the background. And like Omnipredation said, the way you had her come outside the frame really brought the picture to life. Other than that, everything just seems so natural about the picture. It all fits together... and now I'm rambling, so I'll stop there ^_^.

Weeeird! Day before yesterday I started a sketch in psych for this big poster commission that I owe Jon -- it's completely the opposite! Male with scythe (and angelic wings), but scythe to the left... though the hands and arms are in similar positions. That's freaky. But cool. I love how this one chooses to not be contained within the border, and the design of the scythe head is pretty. I think I shall lick it. *lick* :]

Get out of my head! I actually almost gave her angel wings, but decided against it when I finished the basic sketch. *swats him out of her thoughts* My idea! But yeah. I'm glad you like it. The border was done that way because of two things...one...I was too lazy to want to draw a full page background...and two...I wanted to try to add more detail than I normally do in my pictures. Generally I'm more about the flow of things and less attention gets paid to smaller details.

I think you're in my head, actually, LOL. Drew my first thing ever on cardstock today (sketched, half inked) and it turned out looking sort of like you. My mum agrees, too. What's weird is she was s'posed to be Asian.
I like the border and details. I think the only thing I could suggest would possibly be darkening the pencil and burning the BG so it looks more nightly, but you know me and dark things, eh?

I don't have photoshop anymore, unfortunately. Can't do any touching up...and the pencil is actually darker, but the scan washed it out.
Will I get to see this picture that looks like me...oh, person who has a scanner?
