Description This mask was a commissioned piece for October 2006. My first mask for a male. The customer designed the mask and chose which colors he wanted.

It is made entirely of layered paper and a glue mixture. I used Lumiere acrylic paints for the decoration and the backside is padded as well as decorated with a thick brocade fabric and matching trim.
-Due to short notice I had three days and two nights in which to create and finish this mask. Due to the short notice the mask's price went up a bit, but the customer was understandable about it.

*It's good to know that I can accomplish the making and decoration of a mask such as this in such short time, but it's not something I would chose to do again! ;D

I love the tones that you've used here, and the trimming sets it off nicely. Fine work.

Thank you very much! I was sad to see it go when the customer finally came for it. But at least it was going to a good home.

Thanks!
-That was a commissioned mask, so I no longer have it. But I have no problem making another one if you're interested in commissioning me for it.

Wish I could claim credit for choosing the color scheme. My customer had sketched out roughly what he wanted and then wrote in where he wanted which colors. I did choose the actual paints themselves though!;D
-I honestly wasn't sure about the color scheme when I did my own sketch and them colored it in, but it came out better than I'd expected, so I was very pleased with it, too.

-I've been using Lumiere's opalescent acrylic paints lately...they are expensive, but they are so rich and thick! Love them! The blue was by Lumiere...it's a gorgeous shade of blue.
