Description Woo!

First real attempt at a venetian mask. I made this using paper mache, and one of those store-bough plastic ones as a mold. This was the 3rd try at using the "mold" - this was the only one that came out right (I was playing with using the outside, the inside, and different materials) so it got painted and finished up.

I've been wanting to do it for years, and it's actually on my list-of-things-to-do-before-I-die, so I'm that much closer to crossing it off (This is good, but not the greatest I could make, so I feel).

I'm on a real kick for mask making now that I've finally nailed a technique that works for me, so expect to see more. : D

I hope you enjoy viewing this - it was a joy to make.

I just may, I'm doing series which I'll probably end up auctioning off within the coming year

...if I don't get really attached to them... : P

eh, it'll get to the point where I'll have too many in my room and need the space, so I'll start listing contact info blah blah blah for buying at a certain point, if you're actually interested, I'd keep tabs on my masks if I were you.
