You always say lovely things, thank you. I was particularly pleased with the metallic effects on this one too.

I really like the warrior also. I wish it was some other color than green but that is my own prejudice. Green is a very bad color for me. I think I will attempt some metallics. I guess it would be good to get busy with something. Everyday concerns have been impeding my creativity.(regular work to pay bills). Thanks again for the inspiration.

Ah, I know exactly where you are - it's very hard for me too at the moment. I am finding it very hard to be motivated to work on anything original. Hope fully things will pick up soon, and finding mutual inspiration here is always good.

And yeah - I know what you mean about green. I always hesitate before using it because so many people don't like wearing it, or it doesn't suit them.
Metallics are great - I look forward to seeing what you do with them.

I will begin with one that is copper so I can wear it with a new Steampunk outfit. That is what we want to do for Halloween this year.

Oh - that's going to be brilliant. I kind of grew up with steam culture - my father is an active member of the 'Great Western Society' and has been responsible for saving and restoring many old steam engines over the years. I spent much of my childhood in engine sheds and workshops, and only now am I really appreciating how much of a privilege that was.
It delights me that the wonderful Victorian designs are very much back in vogue with the Steampunk movement. I look forward to seeing what you do with the idea.

I grew up with old cowboys that restored the 1880's stuff for a celebration here called Hellorado. It was fun. I think my costume will be more old west. USA. Some of the stuff from San Fransisco around that time should be fun. We will see what comes over the next couple of months. We worked on old carriages, stage coaches, and trains. The horse rigs were fun. Vgas is nothing like that anymore. Most folks don't get involved in Helldorado anymore.

Thank you!
I do both, it depends on the mask. This one was painted with a brush because it suits the feathery feel much better than airbrush work. and I quite like the texture and effects that you can achieve with a paintbrush.
