Description
I was looking for a woodland/water sprite feel when I carved this, and it was originally going to be greens and muted browns. Somewhere in the design process the River Spirit claimed it, and it became a gorgeous metallic blue and silver.

I'm really glad you chose these colours, they're marvellous on the leather!! I've never quite seen such a mask. A breathtaking river spirit indeed!

This is an absolutely amazing piece. I can see the initial influence of the woodland sprites, but I adore how the River Spirit took over about halfway through. Even those parts that could be woodland have easily turned into waves and foam - roiling waters and curving streams.
