Description My nightmare… and hopefully the end of it.

Yeah, this is the commission… Someone please hit anyone who ever again tries to manipulate me to draw for them. I should never agree to do commissions.

I'm waiting for the final comments of this from the person who asked me to draw it. Meanwhile, you all around here can feel free to say whatever you want, too.

This is definitely not something I'll ever be proud of. And I will not draw a single collie more too soon.

The collection of the three pictures put together is beautiful, very fitting and pleasing to the eye.
I love the paws in the full body standing picture, and the pose of the lying down one. How you managed to get the ears on the head-shot picture so perfect is amazing, those ears are buggers to get right >.<
This is deffinitely one of my faves!

Thanks again , I'm pleased to hear some people actually like this one. The person who asked me to draw it loved it, but this drawing has never had any personal meaning to me. It's an example of something I had to force out of myself because I couldn't say no to the person who asked me to do it.

I know that feeling of forcing yourself to do something. Half the time with me though the case is I enjoy it to start with...then I hit a rough patch and just wanna give up >.<
But hey, you made one hell of an amazing piece out of something you weren't so keen on to start with

Sounds kind of familiar. It can always happen that even if I wanted to start the drawing myself in the first place it can turn out to be so hard that I put it aside for some time... sometimes for forever. But that's ok, because no one is expecting me to finish those works.
But if I promise someone to draw something... It's so hard to force yourself work on something and finish it no matter what if you have no will whatsoever to do it.

beautiful work. I'm a huge fan of collies and I had a rough collie when I was a kid. I love the details in the fur and the dogs' expressions; they're gentle and calm, as collies' faces should be. again, beautiful work

I guess this is the dog commission you were talking about, right? I just point at moodymands comment and totally agree to what she said. Your skills are really amazing embers and you have the ability to make all your dog drawings look realistic . The composition is really good... damn the full body shot is eye catching!

I know how it is when you feel crap about something... but this is a lovely group of drawings. They look like something straight out of a breed book so much attention to detail and the 'conformation' and breed characteristics are spot on! You are def. one of the best dog drawers I've ever seen, if not THE best ... (remembers your whippet and poodle pics)
