Thank you so much for all your kind comments. I have hard time believing myself that I used to be able to draw because I haven't really got much anything done during the past couple of years, and not a single drawing this year. So, I too wish I could draw like this again, or well, to be able to draw even something half as decent would be nice. So, if I ever had a talent, it's a very elusive one, unfortunately.

Nope. You're really talented. Most people are doing digital art now. Not many are actually getting a pencil and paper and drawing anymore. So, to see this, I really appreciate this piece of work. I wish you could just believe that you were amazing!  And I haven't really drawn anything this year either. And the one thing I did draw, my brother scribbled all over it. Then I just gave up. How about this? We both at least try and draw something during this week. It doesn't have to be big. It could be a flower. A logo. Anything!!! Lol. And we have to post it by Wednesday. How's that? Because you can really draw. I can't though, but I wish I could. How about that challenge. Even though I can't draw, I'm willing to do this little challenge and put up a little tiny deviant just for you so you can see and hopefully remember just how much of an amazing drawer you are. I think those who do digital art are equally skilled as traditional artists. I've never mastered digital art so I take my hat off for everyone who can work digitally. But you're right, it really does seem like fewer people all the time actually draw with pencil on a piece of paper. 
I don't think I could make myself come up with a drawing in a week, so I'm sorry but I don't think I can do the challenge. I've been discussing ideas with a friend on here for a while now how to get back to drawing and hopefully I'll some day sooner or later find something that makes me want to try, and makes the try worth something. But I don't think forcing it will help.

It's not such a common breed that I'd expect people to recognise it, so that was a nice surprise. And shall we not start about being dog nerds - at least some years ago I honestly used to recognise every possible breed there exists but I doubt I do anymore because there come new ones all the time.

I used to be a bit like that too. But you're right, there always seem to be new ones, and the lines are becoming blurred. Still at least dog breeds are mostly distinguishable from one another... this sounds awful but to me, many horse breeds all look the same...!!

Horse breeds... oh yes, they are certainly much more diffucult thing than dog breeds. Of course we all know those most usual breeds but that's pretty much it for me. Give me a "normal" warmblood horse and I cannot even say from which part of the world it's from even if someone else could easily say which breed it is. Most ponies and all breeds with some really typical features are easy to recognise... well, as long as the horse/pony you're looking at actually looks at least like an average example of the breed.

Yeah there are a few that are recognisable, but so many more that just look like each other. So many drafts especially, and european warmbloods.
I'm doing some work that involves me drawing different breeds of horse, so I'm learning a bit about the characteristics...

We watched some of Crufts last night, I could name just about every single breed sad! Mind you they were all fairly recognisable... Utility and Toys.
