Definitely a refreshing piece, not my strongest or following my usual art style, but it was a lot of fun to change my steps and do something more loose. definitely way more challenging for my little Virgo brain, but it was a lot of fun

A derby, not that it was that much of a common event, a wild class for sure but clearly something to juggle with anxiety and exhilarating adrenalin during the course.

And over that themed with The Roaring 20s? You could sign her in.
Alexa gladly brought along an old pearl necklace as a token of good luck to fit with the event's theme, which was for sure right in her taste. A shame really that the dresses were not adapted for a derby - as a rider at least - because she would have definitely took the challenge and sported all that bling along the course.
Alas her uniform had to be enough for now, and in the meantime, the attitude of her stallion was enough to handle as it is in all those walls and for is first without having to add saddle burns from holding on to dear life with only bare skin to the leather.
Nevertheless; Whisp was always a hard working horse despite his random tantrums and angry looks, he still had a good head and an impeccable physique for this type of events. Today's hill surely took him a bit off guard in the start but the stallion managed to keep his calm and remain steady along the course, he was far from a bad horse to ride, and definitely a mount safe enough for most of the advanced riders at the stable. He was for sure one of those stallions that needed to pause the breedings for a moment and get his show career back on track. He deserved it.
