Description
'...the prince swayed dangerously once, turning toward Merlin before his knees gave out. Merlin dropped the candle and caught him, the dead weight of Arthur bringing the thinner man down as well. The room was plunged again into darkness, but Merlin could still see the dark wetness on his fingers from the wound on Arthur's chest...'Just a scene that popped into my mind while I was re-watching the BBC's fabulous (if not highly un-cannon) show Merlin, where Arthur is attacked in the night and caught off guard by some would-be assassin.

Thanks, Megan! The candle is pretty much my favorite part. Yeah, I only wish Arthur's face turned out as well as Merlin's. Oh well. I'm still learning.
