Description A set of themes which are smooth and subtle, while also being fairly high in contrast, and in which interactive elements are responsive and noticeable in order to deliver a lucid experience.

:Notes:
After a long while of not caring much about changing from Adwaita, I started using Ubuntu and Unity again after a long while since it finally has become stable. Thus I was motivated to work on gtk3 version of this theme. It is based on Ambiance and thus requires the unico engine.

Please excuse any issues it may or may not have in GNOME Shell, as I will fix those in the final release.

Things to look forward to in the final release:

- Dark version for media applications.
- New monochrome media control icons.
- Adwaita-like scroll bars (the thin ones from GNOME 3.4), for those not using Ubuntu and/or its special scroll bars.

Please install the themes by using the INSTALL script. Using this script will allow you to customise the themes before they are installed. In contrary to the screenshot, if you install the theme from the package here you will get a GNOME foot icon for the menu rather than an Ubuntu one.

Ubuntu users can download a package from the theme's GNOME-Look page found here [link] which offers additional configuration options for Unity and gives an Ubuntu logo for the applications button.

There is also a package for Fedora and OpenSUSE users there, but I do not maintain these so they will be updated when they are.

Theme included for Chrome users, or you can just have it use the GTK theme. Both will make it mesh now.

The font used in the screenshots is the Ubuntu font.

:Credits:
I would like to thank some people, without whom this theme would be impossible or at least much harder to produce.

Firstly, Huw Wilkins, for coming up with the mockup ([link] ) which was the birth of the idea of this theme.

Secondly, Cimi, creator of the Murrine GTK+ theme engine. Without this wonderful engine, it would have been far harder to make the theme look the way it does.

Thirdly, Isaiah Heyer for his initial Lucidity GTK theme release, which gave me a decent base theme to work with.

And last, but certainly not least, the entire Linux community who has helped further along the aforementioned projects and those who simply download and use this theme.

Hello Emily, I wanted to know if you're working to bring this wonderful theme in GTK3!

Yes, this is my next goal since I finally got all the GTK2 stuff up to par and where I want it. Will start work on that using Fedora 15 and Ubuntu 11.10 in VMs soon.

Did you use the deb package or the source package and the INSTALL file? If you used the INSTALL file, did you run it as root or a normal user?
