Aaaahhh these two will be the end of me, I love them so much!!! Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

The scene depicted in this piece actually takes place sometime after Valentine’s Day! Stuff happened (slaps their 8000+ words relationship sheet here) and their feelings for each other deepened ♥ However, Kana has to leave after the end of high school for 3 years to study in Tokyo (rest assured, she’ll come back to him after that ;D) so it’s one of the last time they see each other here (yes you may bring out the violins). Kana is still a blushing mess when she’s with him but bold enough to take his hand softly by herself, while Shinsuke is showing more of his feelings too, my kids are doing progress //sobs

It’s a normal date where Kana brought him a parting gift, a matching keychain so he can remember her every time he looks at it! They were supposed to be all alone but actually... Some members of Inarizaki VBC were worried about them so they tagged along discreetly XD At first, only the twins and Suna (forcefully brought along) were planning to take part in this, but Aran ended up coming too! While all of them were joyfully following them at first, Osamu got attracted by a food stall in the park and Suna followed him halfway. After that, Aran got really worried it wouldn’t go well for them and ended up resting on a bench nearby (too much to handle for his glass heart ). In the end, Atsumu is the only one who didn’t chicken out and followed them all the way, so he’s the only one witnessing Kana giving Shinsuke the present (I have the headcanon Atsumu is just that adorable one super supportive of his teammates’ love lives haha)

The shirt Atsumu is wearing tells: “Do your best, Kita-san!!” (a reference to the shirt Shinsuke’s grandma was wearing during the national tournament hehe; also Atsumu is really ShinKa’s love Cupid so ofc he has that support shirt lol)

The other cutie on Atsumu’s opposite side is Kana’s little sister, Suzuna! In terms of personality she is quite her sister’s polar opposite but has a deep sister complex towards Kana, which brings her being jelly when learning her sister and Shinsuke are going out together (while being deep inside happy for them!). She’s just a real cutie tho ♥

About the piece in itself now, it was my first time drawing a background! I didn’t expect to try them out this soon but Kiyopan ‘s tutorials happened ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Although it still reeks of amateur skills and that I have loooots of progress to do, experiencing this was fruitful somehow! I’ll do my best to practice more in the future ^^ The bonus chibi kind of barged in at the last moment so I just coloured them in crayon style but it turned out cute haha ♥ Also, my coloring overall kind of improved but I’m still frustrated at some stuff... OTL

But anyway!! “Progress over perfection” and I had fun drawing this (especially blushing Shinsuke, and Atsumu’s chibi!!) so!!! It’s all fine!!!
