THE LONG WAIT
Taken yesterday, a Grey Heron waiting (for a very long time!) for a catch

Patience is the word for him. Don't move until your prey does, then a lightening drop and stab, and yummmo.

Patience is definitely the word, although I don't think this one caught anything in the end - he was sat there for a long time though! Thank you very much

It seems the Grey Heron and I went fishing yesterday ... but I bet the Heron didn't see whales or seals like I did!

It was a top day. We saw whales ... and a seal that we thought was a piece of wood, until we got up close! lol He was just dozing.
