Description the life of a wasteland raider can be tough but life is easier when you have some friends and a fully loaded deathdozer. filled to the brim with booze, bullets, guns and assorted gear the dozer and its crew are the life of the party. and if you don't watch out, their fully loaded dozer will bring the party to you.

Here is the interior section to my 1/35 kitbashed DeathDozer. as always i tried to really load up this Interior and give it a mini diorama look and for the most part i think i succeeded. the cab of this thing is pretty cramped and was a bit awkward to detail but i was able to put a surprising amount in. some stuff is not picked up all that great in the photos but in real life it looks pretty dang good.
anyways i have just a little more work that needs to be done on the dozer but wanted to get a shot of it now. when finished it will still open up but will be 10x harder with all the guns and antenna going on this thing.

As always questions, comments and suggestions welcome.

Awesome level of detail; exterior and interior.

Thank you very much. the base kit i used was pretty extreme in its own right, so i knew i had to go big or go home.

didnΒ΄t even notice that until now, IΒ΄m just to have tanks without interiors, this gets more epic every moment

thanks dude!
every time i get a project that has something like this i kinda go wild. its really fun to cram in those details(couldn't even get proper photos of it all). Seeings all the work and $$$$ i put into the dozer, it would be amiss if i didnt do this as well.

can you still open the finished model to see the interior?

you mostly canΒ΄t at GW models, therefore IΒ΄m not used to that

you can still open it. its hard to tell from the photos(and with out looking at instruction book) but i modified the kit, so the top of the cab, really does just slide off. tho now that it has the fine/fiddlly detail(guns,PE, antenna ect) it will be tricky to get it off, without having something small break off.

yea i know that alot of the stock kits do not have that option, tho i have seen alot of people put in the work to do converted interior sections. most of that kinda work(other than detail) doesn't look too hard. a bunch of cutting/moding and plenty of plastic stock and sheet.

i tried to pack alot in there, tried to do a tiny game of "eye spy"
there is even stuff on the floor, but it would be hard to get a proper photo of.

Always best to fill in your interior well, gives the whole thing a nice rounded finish...... Heck I don't need to tell you that "If it's worth doing......"

Looking forward to seeing the whole thing together....

Thank you! even tho it will be hard to see in there( and sort of a pain to open it up) knowing that its fully detailed adds alot to the overall model IMO. or at least fills me with some pride that i went all out for it.

thanks! should be very very soon now, as i am done and just need to do photos.

thank you! all this took so freaking long for me to paint. now that's its toghter somewhat, i think it was all worth it. sometimes i really doubt myself and its hard for to to envision how it will all work toghter.

capricorv In reply to enc86 [2015-01-01 12:04:46 +0000 UTC]

Yup all worth it! Same thing here, sometimes I draw and put some color combinations on paper before painting, takes a while hehe.. it's really challenging but it's fun. By the way do you use magnifying glasses while painting them?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

enc86 In reply to capricorv [2015-01-01 15:24:37 +0000 UTC]

yea that's a good idea, i try to do something similar , but with an old tank hull i have.

no i do not use any magnification. i use my eyes and check the part i am working on alot, andΒ  at different angles. ill take photos as well, and check the photos for mistakes.
