Description
This is one I made specifically for myself. it took about 2 weeks of putting it on, taking it off, putting it on, taking it off (which hubby thoroughly enjoyed) to get just the right shape. It is made from mainly 16g 1/4 bright aluminum, with blue goldstone and silver etched bead drops, and stainless steel and aluminum chain drapes. It feels really good on, and is completely dance-able. I love how it has a fuller coverage than most chainmail bikini style tops do. It doesn't dig into the armpit area?

Thank you! No, there isn't any digging into the armpits. The biggest problem I have is that I have a lot of weight on my *ahem* front, so the ties behind the neck can dig in if I wear it for too long

I have that problem a lot with halter tops; I have seen a style of tribal shirt that makes an X in the back before threading through d rings *or whatever* and then tying, and i have been interested in trying that. Have you tried this before? If you have, I am curious as to how it worked out.

I have tried that. It creates a bit of a different cleavage line, but it sure does save the neck hehehehe!

Oh, yeah - I can imagine. My husband made me a bra thingie, but the weave is really wide and it's not really fitted. Just triangles of maile. It still looks great over a tank top, though!

You don't need to be a Barbie doll to dance. The wonderful thing about belly dance is that it is a huge sisterhood. The girls in my dance class are the first ones I go to if Im sad or lonely. They support one another so much, above and beyond just the dance. Not to mention, the dancing part is amazing. very earthy and natural, and you look good doing it even if you aren't a size 4....which I havent been since I WAS 4 LOL

**giggle** thanks! Yes, I do custom orders, as well as having about 800 pieces in my garage waiting for the next ren fair. Sadly, since most of my things are one of a kind, I shut down my website. I couldnt keep it up with all the inventory passing through. Too much to do already in the day lol. This one was specifically designed to me...lots of measuring went into it, so I can say for certain it's a 38 C lol! I'd say I would probably charge about $175 to $200 for something like this, depending on size, design differences, etc.

It makes it very lightweight. It also makes it much more comfortable to wear out in the sun all day long (like I tend to do at faires). Aluminum doesn't conduct heat as well as steel, so it stays very comfortable, and there's no burning of the ta-tas with too much direct sunlight hehehee
