D: I've worked on this for.... about five or so weeks, but there's only about 4 hours' worth in it I kept stopping cos the fur was irksome.
Thought I'd go lineless for a change, cos I just couldn't get the right effect with an outline, y'know?

Tree Kangaskhan, because a Kangaskhan is a kangaroo-based Pokemon, and you get tree kangaroos. Okay.

Kangaskhan living in more heavily forested areas soon found that it was better to take to the trees to protect their young. The cooler climates among the trees also caused them to grow a long coat of fur, instead of protective scales and thick skin which would be far too heavy for the agile lifestyle that Tree Kangaskhan lead.
They use their powerful, long limbs to leap from branch to branch with speed and agility that their ground-dwelling relatives lack. Their tails have also grown long and prehensile, allowing the Kangaskhan to use them for balance (their bodies are too bulky for using the tails to hang from). They also have flexible paws, allowing them to grip branches easier; their claws have developed into long, thin hooked claws for the same purpose. In females, the pouch is smaller for aerodynamic purposes, so the young is expelled from it much earlier, where it will cling to a parent’s back when the family is moving.
They often form large clans, which can get very noisy when there is a possible predator around in order to drive the offender away. If the foe is not deterred they will strike with their claws.
