Description
Atlantic and Pacific 4-6-4 number 670 speeds through the Cascade Mountains with the "Pacific Limited". When she reaches Long Beach, she will turn around, be serviced and hook up to the "Atlantic Limited". When she reaches New York, she will be turned, serviced and hooked up to the Pacific Limited. An endless cycle, that has only been broken once, when the "Pacific Limited" derailed around "Beaver Tail" curve in the Rockies, and the schedule was fouled for months. These trains leave New York and Long Beach twice every day.
