I've made some character concepts for Marion Zimmer Bradley's book, The Mists of Avalon, which is a very unique version of the Arthurian legend, a story, told by female POV characters, namely Guinevere, Morgan le Fay, the Lady of the Lake, Ygraine, the mother of Arthur and Morgan, and Ygraine's little sister, Morgause.These pictures will go into my work-log separated, and i suppose more will be made, since currently i'm working on a three piece illustration sequence for this book and i'll have to write a long log for it...
Anyway, the characters from left to right: Arthur, Morgan, Guinevere, Lancelot.

Very nice. As I mentioned before, I'm definitely planning on seeing/reading Mists of Avalon some day. It's always nice to see non-evil takes on Morgaine le Fay. Hoping she shows up in Smite eventually. Mordred too.

Oh my God, I'm reading the book and, even when I tried not to hate Guinevere, now I hate her at no end. She's an always-frightened-by-outdoors whimpy little lady, who clearly is jealous of Morgan because she's a "free" woman and people admire her, while Guinevere is a repressed, oh-so-pure-and-devote damsel. She's not even able to let Lancelot free, despite she's married to Arthur, and at the moment of the book I'm reading, she's going nuts, insults Kevin, hallucinates with serpents and goes hysteric about the standard. This woman is going to screw everything with her hysterical paroxysm.
By the way, I LOVE all your pictures. I think, in fact, I commented this one before. Well, I needed to know that I'm not the only one that hates Guinevere U.U

I know there are some charactes who nobody likes, but man, I liked Catelyn, I love Sansa, but Guinevere?? That woman needs a huge applause... in the face.
