My first entry into the Kaiju Portraits featuring a fan-created / original character, with more such OC creations coming throughout May 2016.

Origin [In-Story]

Leviathan was one of the original ten Grand Seraphim crafted by JHVH at the dawn of time, made to preside over the 'Virtue of Joy'. She performed admirably, but after the creation of Mankind, she lost favor with her father. He no longer showed love or care, and grew despondent, causing her to side with her sister, Lucifer, when the eldest's foolhardy plan to win back their father's attention was concocted.

After The Fall from Grace, she became the embodiment of The Sin of Envy, due to her spite towards Mankind for stealing away her father's love. But the fallen angel holds no grudge, choosing to forgive, but never forget. And thus, after being revived by the mad geniuses of Project: Scylla, the Almighty Leviathan sides with her former foes against a threat to all reality itself.

What is Project: Scylla?

Project: Scylla is a research and development project done by the crew of the GDFS Langoud in Tarbtano's Amalgam Universe. The goal ws to create a viable human / Kaiju hybrid to serve as a super-soldier and secret weapon. Leviathan's DNA served as the genetic 'bridge' between the two, resulting in the Nephilim [the name we chose for human-kaiju hybrids] known as Tytanna.

Origin [Meta]

Leviathan, originally named 'Laevateinn' [Nordic word for 'Beating Stick'], was initially intended as an overhaul / replacement for the kaiju girl 'Titanna', before evolving in her own direction to become what she is today. Her name choice actually comes from one artists VASTLY different interpretation, but the name essentially stuck, and the designs hybridized into what you see today.
