I really like the detail of the artwork getting rougher and more angular between the death of Dusty's sister and the final panel, especially the use of bold red background and how the Vigoroth is portrayed in its movements. It really helps emphasize Dusty's pure, fractured panic during that period and how he saw the creature. It's a stylistic detail that elevates the scene above and beyond. 100% aces.

I love to browse the internet. one day, I saw this. I thought it was a pretty nifty one-off comic. I saw it again today and decided to search up this "Godamn Critical Hits" thing. and, I was rather surprised to see a full fledged comic. i've started to read through it, and have only gotten up to this point. so far, my favorite part is the animation you made. and, admittedly, I would have preferred to see the damn mudkip to die... I felt sick seeing Nocturne die...

Yeah, the whole out of context thing always irks me a bit when people share these on other sites. I mean, I guess I appreciate the publicity, but few of them work on their own, and frankly my writing isn't fantastic and it opens it up to a much more critical audience. I'd much rather people make it explicitly obvious that it's part of a set.
