That's how I imagined the "transformation" of the admins as well. Maybe Courtney turned robotic-like because she may gotten struck by lightning in a thunderstorm.

But ORAS has more in way of plot with Primals, Mega Rayquaza, going into space to catch Deoxys, the Eon Ticket event with MANY legendaries and the entire Delta Episode with Zinnia, improved Contests, the Gym Leaders being out of their Gym, the Battle Frontier being just recently in construction, a really dark part where a PokΓ©mon is actually seen dead IN CANON, the deviousness of the Devon Corp....
It wouldn't be a repeat, believe me.

I'm sure there's loads of cool new stuff, but I do have a plan as to how this one is going to do, and I'm not sure I'd be able to find a coherent way of justifying the fact that teams Magma and Aqua are even still at large, and Groudon and Kyogre still awake/a threat, etc...
Without getting too spoilery, things are gonna wrap up in certain ways that make a return to Hoenn unlikely, cool though that might be.

ORAS also introduced the concept of multiverse in PokΓ©mon. Tecnically speaking, RSE and ORAS don't share continuity but they're AU's of each other instead.
Though even without the multiverse conspiracy theory, it's quite obvious ORAS is not a sequel of Emerald, since they're remakes based on RS, and before the theory was posted, remakes overwrited the originals. Meaning that RS is no longer considered canon, and since Emerald was kinda a sequel of them, it's retconned out of existence.
But this is just a suggestion though. It's fine if you don't want to do it.

Accurate. I do, actually, regret my decision to get Alpha Sapphire. I thought "Team Aqua are losers! I want to help Maxie destroy them! That's what you do in Sapphire, right?" And it was, so there's that, but by not opposing Team Magma, I missed, essentially, ALL interaction with them. Which is sad. Why was there not a Delta Emerald so I could do both?! Why was there not a game where you could JOIN one team? Because I'm with IGN on this one, TOO MUCH WATER!

If I remember correctly, Emerald was released the year after Ruby and Sapphire. May be in 2015, we'll get Delta Emerald, or whatever symbol they decide on using...
