Description Along the shores and rivers of Montana 67 million years ago a shore bird forages for insects and invertebrates. This bird is only 1lb and is, much like the mammals, tiny. This bird does have a larger brain to body ratio and can produce a wider array of sound than its larger cousins. This bird is largley protected when fires rage through during the dry season due to being around water. They nest in crevices and holes. Often they fly in flocks but disperse while feeding to avoid being detected by predators. Aviasaurus a 2lb bird is the main predator of this shore bird. Small lizards and mammals will eat the eggs of this shore bird. This bird is able to survive very well here nevertheless and is highly adaptable. They reproduce incredibly fast and can outwit just about any hunter in the entire Hell creek formation.
