Well, Photoshop CS 2-3 takes a lot of RAM and it can runs very slow on an older pc. Photoshop 7 has the most tutorials and stuff.

the biggest advantage of CS is that it can have folders within folders. If you do not use that function, then it's not exactly that useful. Photoshop5-7 will be enough if u dont need it

Don't have much time to criticize, anyway it's really cute and I love the warm colours (yellow->orange->red rules t3h world). But the blue and green aren't really well choosen according to this drawing atmosphere. First, the green should be more yellow, more like grass in the sun, and the blue should be brighter and more peaceful. Like that this drawing will be more... homogeneous. : >

is it because the red/orange/ yellow are too bright so the cold colors also have to be slightly be brighter? I've always had troubles mixing up colors and understanding them. (and it's ok if u type in french if it's easier for u)

C'est plus ou moins Γ§a, il faudrait que toutes les couleurs aient une valeur(luminosity) qui s'accorde bien. Aussi, Γ©claircir ne veut pas dire rajouter du blanc. MΓͺme dans la rΓ©alitΓ©, quand un objet est Γ©clairΓ©, il ne devient pas toujours plus blanc.
Ici la couleur qui devrait se trouver un peu partout est le jaune (Γ  mon sens), donc toutes les couleurs devraient Γͺtre plus ou moins proche du jaune.
