Description
I wanted to try adding more details so I drew this picture.Her name is Shizuka and she is part of my story named Puppet Master. Puppeteers are people who controls puppets using various techniques, such as sounds, seals, scrolls, psychic, etc. All puppeteers want to become the one and only Puppet Master, the strongest puppeteer in the world.
There are 5 types of puppets: God, Devil, Human, Ghost, and fairy (ranked by the most uncommon to the most common puppet type). There is no limit to how much puppets one can have, but how well you control them depends on the puppeteer. A dark organization has been capturing puppets and wants to claim to be the Puppet Master.
Shizuka, a girl whose background remains a mystery and who does not like to have contacts with others, wish to become the Puppet Master and destroy the dark organization. Along her way she will meet a cheerful and gullible girl named setsuna, and they will journey together to become a Puppet Master.

This is gorgeous. It has such a gentle look to it, and I adore the designs on the fans.
Shizuka's personality really shines through her expression. I love that look of determination she has.
The cging of her hair is great. It has a soft and shiny look to it.
Gotta say, you've got a really good plotline here, I look forward to seeing more of it.

I'm glad that her personality shines through. I was afraid that it'll get covered up by all those fans n leaves.
The design on the fans are actually brushes that I made esepcially for the fan.
Now my only problem with drawing her is that she rarely shows her emotions and she will most likely look like the same when I draw more of her. But many i'll draw her with Setsuna. That'll give us something to laugh about xD (Shizuka can't stand Setsuna)

they r totally the opposite. cheerful n inocent vs no emotions. but if theres one person that Shizuka love n can't stand it will be Setsuna. A Love-Hate relationship! I hope that the crash b/w them will make her have more expression

I like the storyline idea, and the different types of puppets.
Behind all my characters there is always a story. But I might consider drawing small exerts (? i forgot how to spell it) of the story to share with you all. I've both Shizuka and Setsuna's past all planned. And their past tells us why she is determined to be a puppet master. If only I can get the lazy leecher (cough my lazy self) away from me...

And that's what makes an interesting character, to have an excerpt on what their life is like and that. And ohhh that'd be interesting to hear/read about. And hee :3 no pressure on yourself, you'll get around to it when you're ready and etc.

the past is what makes the character so interesting. that's also the first thing that i think of when i design a character. i just sketched Setsuna so hopefully i can colore her soon!
