S03E17, when Wesley is whispering to Data, this is obviously what they are talking about.Wesley then updates his Facebook status about how much a jerk Data is being but he deletes it five minutes later because he feels bad.
And yes, Data cleared his ENTIRE STATION of all information in order to make the gum stand out. Gah, all of panel two just looks so bad -- not that the rest of it actually looks good or anything. :I

Omg! this reminds me of something Wheaton said!
so they would be show ready, about to start filming, and Spiner, He would be sitting in the front with Wheaton, and he would go "Hey, hey Wil..." Then make an absurd face, then automatically turn into sweet and innocent Data while Wil got the blame for (trying hard not to laugh) laughing during filming..... and they wouldn't believe him when he would "HE DID IT! ITS HIS FAULT" Mr Spiner, who, probably was still in character.
