Oh how amazing his is!A beetle bug is actually a mechanism ! A little robot.
I adore the beetle's colours .
So ancient and so futuristic, great inspiration and mysterious creatures. The were huge inspiration for the ancient Egyptians.
Sacred bug.

A clockwork beetle?
Hmm, would this be a metaphor for the idea that something complex must be made rather than appear spontaneously? -- the usual example given being a clock or watch.

Oh, I'm not saying I agree with that argument, I was just asking if that was the inspiration.

Fair enough, and as I say, it's a valid suggestion (whether the artist intended it or not).

This is gorgeous, the wood has such a lovely colour. Have you ever heard of Insect Lab by Mike Libby? He does similar work with insects, worth checking out for some inspiration if you wanted!

OMG!
I had one like this before!
It was sooo great!
Some of my ideas came from that cockroach!
I used it to scare my cousin with it sometimes.
Now its broke and im sad...
Anyways...
Mine was great and this one looks too!
