Erikor — A mermaids dance

Description I've always loved mermaid, but I rarely paint them. Well, here is one.

About the painting. I loved the sketch of it, but I'm not sure about the coloring. Colored with watercolors, acrylics and goldpaint. Used some beads to. Colors somewhat tweaked in PS CS to make them look as bright as the original.

Thank you. I'm really pleased with the layout and placement of the figure. Wanted a very flowing expression. GLad u liked it.

Wonderful colouring! Would you mind telling me how you get your lineart to show so well? I have a lot of difficulty getting mine to stand out...

Thank you. I use a 0.1 inkpen for the whole sketch. After that I go over the sketch again and make the parts that are going to be shaded a little bit thicker. That makes the lineart more alive and it shows clearer.
