Yet another epic picture for one of my stories. Except it’s not really all that epic. It’s more like a random family picture.
That’s actually how this started. I had the idea to finally do a Wyatt family picture, er, picture, but then I was like…well, Damien’s technically part of the family now as well, so…. And then, of course, Liam would want to have his girlfriend in the picture as well. And that pretty much left Danika out. But then I could imagine her sitting off to the side, a little dejected, but Ayame shooing her in just because.
Besides, she’s also a future Wyatt. Bri’s just fighting that the whole time.
So yeah, random full cast picture for GE. I guess I had sort of already did a cast picture , although that one’s, like, a year and a half old. And I’ve added a few characters to the cast since then. >.>
Damien always ends up with his arms crossed. It works for him, and for this picture, but it’s sort of funny how he always ends up like that.
Not much to say about this one, really. I mean, sure, there’s a lack of dragons in it, save for Sapphros, but I didn’t want to mess with them, have Rose block anyone, and Sid is really too big, anyway. So there’s that.
I’m rather pleased with how this turned out. Not sure when I’ll get back to this story, but I sort of want it to be soon. I’m this close to finishing the series, after all.

Ugh, this is so ridiculously cute I can't even describe it. You always do really nice cast pictures, and even large groups like this don't seem to bother you or make you impatient, which I really admire. Plus, these guys are all so adorable, they deserve to be seen together, because they are Bri's family, biological or otherwise. (I kinda like the old trope of the protagonist's close friends on their journey becoming like their family, especially since Bri didn't know her family for the longest time, so naturally I like the idea of all these people being her family even if they're not biologically related.)
I do want to say 'poor Danika' since she's way darker than anyone else (since all the others have a similar skin tone — maybe Bri and her siblings tend more towards ochre and Damien tends more towards a red-brown, but they're all around the same brightness. Then there's Dani. 
I still love how Liam manages to keep the coat even though he doesn't need to do his badass pirate schtick any more. He needs to get the most use out of that coat, after all. It was pricey. Might as well get his money's worth from it. I'm sure Shaylee likes it too, for that matter. >.>
I still think it's funny that the tomboy Danika, who only ever wore 'manly'/boyish colours before (greens), switches to pink because she has a pink dragon. It still looks really good on her, as it did in the other pics you've done of her in pink.
Bri doesn't look any different from usual, but it's a little funny to see her with the blonde in front but longer hair. The blonde looks a lot like dyed bangs, which is probably the effect she wants anyway. It's interesting though. Hopefully the brown part of her hair stays brown. >.>
Rachel looks really pretty! I'd kinda forgotten about her, mostly because she's at the end of the second book and so I haven't had a chance to really know her (her grandfather's still scum regardless), but hopefully the third book will fix that. Since the only design we've seen has her hair in pigtails, it's interesting to see what it looks like down! Although given the amount of genetic tampering she's had, I don't know if the waves are something she always had/they didn't fix yet, or if that was deliberately engineered because even pervert scientists think wavy hair is pretty. Either way, she does look cute! Maybe a little older than thirteen, but she could be an early bloomer too; it's hard to tell, and again, the genetic tampering messes everything up as far as being able to figure out what she originally looked like. She looks good in blue, but perhaps it's because it brings out her eyes (since Bri looked good in blue also).
Poor Ian. He doesn't get a partner in this picture. 
Anyway, while I'm mentally cursing you, just a little, for putting twisted GE/SE crossover thoughts in my head (random ideas I've entertained all morning), this is still an awesome picture! >.> Not sure what got your muse on this, but I like it.

Its sort of funny, because large cast pictures daunt me sometimes. Like, sometimes I had an idea for a large picture, but I’m terrified of actually drawing it because of the effort it’d take me to draw everyone out. Once I get it sketched, its different, of course. Sometimes, I get lucky enough to start on a good art day, like how this one was. Most of the time, I just sit on it for a while. Sometimes, it’ll be a fluke, like I’ll draw one, it’ll turn out wonderful, and then slowly add to the group. Like what happened with my epic Gatekeeper picture. This one was planned, though. And I’m so freaking proud of it!
(Yeah, it’s sort o funny how Bri started out with no family, and now she has a large family. And she’s enjoying every bit of it.)
To be honest, Danika’s sort of common of her people, and the main reason I had her so dark is merely because she spends the most time outdoors. Sure, you could argue Damien does as well, since he’s a Dragon Rider and all, but it’s a different thing. But yeah, it’s sort of funny how Damien and the true Wyatt siblings have a similar skin tone, even though theirs is ocher and his is just tan. And then there’s Shaylee, standing out a mile because of her paleness. There’s no real reason why she’s so pale other than her red hair. Even after generations upon generations of mixing, the redheads still get pale skin! (Ha ha, I still think it’s funny how I made her hair pretty like that on a whim, and now she wears it down to get the attention of a certain former space pirate captain. She knows how gorgeous she can be with her hair down!)
But yeah, I like that coat way too much for him to lose it in this next book. So he keeps it, and it because a thing with his mother to get rid of it, but he spent too much on it for him to straight up stop wearing it. And the people of Caserus don’t give a shit anyway. And Shaylee seems to get a kick out of it. Hell yeah, he’s keeping it.
And it is so weird to give Danika the pink. But that’s why it was so hilarious to give her the damn pink dragon. Sure, she could technically still wear the greens, because there’s no rule that says that they have the wear their dragon’s colors. After all, Damien wears red, and his dragon is very black. But Danika thinks its hilarious as well, and figures it’d throw new people she meets off. She’s wearing pink, so they expect her to be dainty like Shaylee. But she’s not. She the opposite of dainty.
I actually like the longer hair look on Bri, especially with the blond hair. I think the main reason she doesn’t mind the blond is because it gives her hair that neat dyed look, to be honest. And because she’s gotten used to it. And because she straight up looks better like this. And yeah, even if it’s a spoiler, her hair does stay like this. Because she looks stupid with all blond hair. I tried it. Just…no.
Its sort of funny, because Rachel is the reason why I decided to do this picture, but I had somehow forgotten her name was Rachel. Like, I knew, but forgot for a bit. >.< I mostly gave her the slightly wavy hair just because, sort of like with Shalyee, and she looks nice. She might look older than thirteen, but some just do that naturally when they clean themselves up. The hair down isn’t really a common thing for her. I probably should have given her the pigtails, I just didn’t feel like it, for whatever reason. I guess so I could see what her hair looks like down? I don’t know. I do know her hair is her natural hair waviness. She might be thirteen, they might have white people down pact, but there are some things they don’t mess with right away still. But yeah, I like the blue I have her in. It’s pretty.
Ian’s partner is…elsewhere in the picture. I already hinting even in the description that she was there. (It’s Danika.) But yeah, I just happened to not pose them together. 
Hee hee, this really did turn out great, and I love it All the main cast is somehow Bri’s ‘family’, and its so awesome.
