Description A full sized Jr. maiko's willow and umbrella set with pink nadeshiko and tiny crystal rain droplets, made as a recent custom order. I was just a little intimidated to try a full sized willow set to begin with, but it turned out fine in the end. I did learn that it takes me longer to make this type than it normally does for a set, so I'll be sure to keep that in mind should I make another one in future.

Thanks. It's not really a new idea at all, just a June (maybe sometimes July?) motif that you don't see very often. I've seen a few pictures of maiko wearing umbrella kanzashi, either on their own or mixed in with willow.

Wow~ if your customer ever has it photographed, you should see if they let you repost how it looks worn. I'd be quite curious.

I'm not sure it would be appropriate to ask for any, since it's not someone I know personally, but if I ever do have pictures of it worn and it's ok with the customer, I'll be sure to post them.

hmm, if it's for cosplay or for halloween, I think most people like being asked? Kind of shows their originality. But if it's for a private collection, then they probably aren't planning on showing people, so...depends on the purpose.
