I'm kind of lame when it comes to new types of petals, it takes me horribly ling to figre out XD
These seem to be regular petals turned inside out?

You are very creative with petals and thanks to this you seem to be very succesful! I wish I had half your success!
Thank you for the tip -  maybe if I figure out how to smooth the glued edge I'll try something with this

Thanks, I don't really feel very successful. I make a lot of stuff, but I don't sell it very fast, really just enough to keep buying supplies. I don't have much of a life outside of crafting, I'm good with my hands but not my head, so I'd be making things no matter what. If I didn't try to sell it it would just pile up here, until I ran out of material.

I sealed the edges of the round petals and let them dry before turning them inside out, then trimmed the fraying threads and extra glue off so the back of the petal was neat and the edges met when it was flipped, does that make any sense?

I used hot glue, but I bet any glue would work fine.

Ha ha, I actually never use hot glue, so I'll probably find my own way soon ^^ I'm grateful for the tips!

In a way I know what you mean, though I have a regular job and need to care about it first, and just than about kanzashi. I'm hoping one day I might make it my half-job I get some custom orders from time to time though. Not much, but I like making them ^^

I also trade a lot of kanzashi for kimono
