Interesting how the "Fool" has been used throughout history, and in literature, as the Truth Speaker -- someone who can speak nonsense and deep truth in the same sentence.  He can poke fun at anyone, because no one takes him seriously.  He can point out what no one else dares to say, because he has no face to save.  He walks with kings and peasants, and annoys both equally.

Love the messy hood and hair, contrasted with the intensity of his eyes.

I know that feeling!  I'm not satisfied with most of my photos, but I think that people who look at them would never notice the different gripes I have with them. But being self critical is part of the learning or evolving process.
