Started with an unfinished wooden chest from Michael's, then stained with brown shoe polish. Got the designs from the in-game chests on the front and back, and made a stencil out of it then painted it. We already had griffon stencils for Ezio's outfit, so I slapped those on the sides. Did some gold brush on the top, and then we lined the interior with the red fabric, along with adding the leather straps. We had to reset the hinges thanks to the fabric, which was an adventure in and of itself, and then I painted and glued on the silver studs (which are also just wooden).

And now it's done Come Otakon, I'll buy some fake gold coins, or maybe the chocolate ones and fill it up for my Ezio (~rabid-llama) to steal.

God only knows how long it took, but it was fun. Now back to working on armor!
