There were a few titters, an audible gasp, a catcall, and a smattering of clapping as the portable curtain was rolled away to reveal the night's last item to be auctioned. There, suspended rather uncomfortably from a T-frame, was the pink, purple and yellow-clad superheroine known as Virtuous Venus. The heroine's head lolled lazily to the side as she tried to focus on the small crowd of potential bidders, but she was clearly dazed and was barely able to keep her head from drooping down onto her chest as her glassy eyes slowly tracked across the assembled patrons. The auctioneer, a tall, wispy woman known only as Vanish, stepped between Virtuous Venus and the crowd, and motioned back towards the heroine with one arm.

"Our next item up for bid needs no introduction!" she grinned broadly, her smile matched by most of the members of her audience. "But I'm going to introduce her, anyway. Most of you know Virtuous Venus, here. Some of you have had personal dealings with her before. As you can see, she's secured with cuffs and chains and heavily sedated for her protection and yours. And also because it's a lot of fun watching the bitch moan and struggle. Am I right?"

The villainesses comprising the crowd laughed, clapped, and cheered.

"We're very interested in finding a good PAYING home for VV, but I'm not going to lie, I've had so much fun playing with this one that I almost didn't put her up for bidding tonight. I wouldn't mind keeping her for myself, so the bidding is going to start high. As for the goods, well, you know her, you hate her, and there's probably not a woman out there who doesn't want to get her hands on her," Vanish said, walking over to Virtuous Venus and giving her hip a firm squeeze. "And I can assure you all, the *only* thing that's virtuous about this delicious do-gooder is her name!" she added with an impish wink.

It had already been an excellent night. Invincibelle and Durabelle had sold as a pair for just over seven figures to an enigmatic woman in black leather. A redhead with a devious glint in her bright green eyes had paid a queen's ransom for the Crimson Valkyrie. A rather shady, dusky woman who seemed to ooze wickedness had ponied up an almost equal sum for Purity. Ever since Vanish teamed up with that crazy North Korean lady Madame Woo and gained access to her resources--and especially her information--heroines seemed to be falling into her lap. And now it was time to sell what she had every right to anticipate would be the biggest prize of the evening.

"Now who wants to start us off at one *million* dollars?" she asked, conjuring up a Dr. Evil imitation and placing a pinkie finger to her lips, which spread into a Cheshire cat smile as several paddles shot up into the air.

I came across Virtuous Venus awhile back and loved her costume. I finally got around to putting a version of it together in Second Life. It's about 90% done, I just have to mod a proper belt buckle for her and maybe find a little bit better hair style. I thought it would be more fun to show the costume off with a little bondage than with just a pinup, don't you agree?
