I walked around the machine and made sure the monitor and the multicolored emitters were in the correct position. After a few slight adjustments to the hardware I loaded a preset program into the machine. I walked over to a cabinet and returned with a brown glass bottle of anesthetic, a square cotton gauze pad, and a long strip of white cotton cloth.

"Please d...don't drug me again," she pleaded softly, but she offered no resistance as I positioned the dry pad over her nose and mouth and tied it in place with the strip of cloth.

"This is for your own good, Kitten," I smiled, uncorking the bottle. "I'm going to give you just enough to keep you nice and relaxed while the machine here does its work. I want you to just breathe deeply and stare at the monitor, it will tell you everything you need to know and everything you need to do. When it's finished, you'll be ready to begin your new life as my villainess sidekick and partner in crime!"
