My friend Mike's character Star Spangled Siren is a huge favorite of mine. So much so, in fact, that I actually tried to make her costume myself for Second Life....and failed miserably.Well, lately Mike's wife and my beloved friend Molly has been getting into Poser and Photoshop herself and is getting to be quite good at it (check out her gallery!). She had Mike's Poser template for the Siren costume and was nice enough to use it to make the costume for me for Second Life!
I was finally able to take some time today to work on her. So here she is, in all her glory, my version of Star Spangled Siren.

Oh, and I wasn't able to duplicate the horizontal red and white design of the cape, so I went with vertical stripes instead.

I don't think that your first attempt to create Star Spangled Siren was a failure, Etherea, but I think that this iteration is much better. I'm impressed at how well Molly matched up seams for you on it; one of the things I could see was going to be a problem with transferring Poser textures to Second Life is the difference in UV mapping.
You two make a formidable team. I suppose that I shall have to look into this too, although at the moment I am experimenting with the fifth generation of DAZ characters in Poser. So much to do and so little time.
Thank you for bringing Star Spangled Siren to Second Life. I am pleased and flattered that you like the character. You can certainly use her in role play if you like, although you might want to use a different background story than the one I had in mind for her.

I could never get the bustier to line up right, couldn't figure out how to keep it from being semi-transparent....and I didn't even try the gloves, stockings, or shorts! It was fun putting the last bits together after Molly made the costume. It's likely I will use her for RP but right now most of the RP I've been doing has been on canon sims. And I like your background story for her. *puts on her red light*
