Appearance:
The Iridescent Glideko comes in every color, as they change color frequently depending on their emotions.
Their markings, however, are very diverse. The markings remain black at all times regardless of base color, the white markings appear to be lighter than their base color. The "white" markings found on almost every single glideko are on their nose, toes, and underside. Any reptile (gecko, snake, etc) morph you can find would be applicable in this species, however, the rarer the morph, the harder it is to find unless you manage to breed them for those specific traits.
▸Almost all glidekos have black eyes; in very rare cases, they may have blue (melanistic/albino) or red (albino) eyes.
▸The average length of a fully grown glideko is 7-8 inches, however, males can get up to 12 inches long.

Other:
▸Glidekos are able to glide and stick to things and will do exactly that to reach places with food or warmth.
▸Like other lizards, their tails may detach in order to escape predators. It takes several months for them to grow back, however, and they don't quite look the same as before. If their tails get too heavy for them to glide, they will remove them on their own (so long as food is abundant). The more food they have, the quicker their tail regenerates.
▸With relatively short laying periods with large clutches, glidekos would be an infestation species, if not for their maladaptive traits, such as storing all fats in their tails which can become too heavy for them to effectively glide. They're relatively slow on land, and losing their tail could mean death if they are unable to keep up with the constant need for food once their stores are gone.
▸Their diets consist of just about anything; insects are their favorites, but they are known to eat fruits, vegetables, small creatures, and eggs. Basically anything they can wrap their little mouths around.
▸You can collect scales from their head, which may slightly change colors depending on temperature even after they've fallen from the glideko. This might make for pretty jewelry pieces. You may also harvest their tails (which may potentially kill them if you can handle having that on your conscience...) which have a few different uses. The skin is tough, which can be used much like snakeskin for accessories, though you may need to harvest several tails in order to make something like boots. The fat stored in tails can make a kind of lard which may be effective in cooking if you're open-minded enough.
▸Could be eaten if desired, but likely wouldn't be a great or filling meal.
