I don't really like this.. actually, I don't much at all. for a copy of a picture it turned out pretty crappy.I'm not sure why this looks so bad, it does in fact look an awful lot like the picture I was copying it from, I'm just not happy with it.
ooh well, my cousin talus asked me if I would draw it for her, and I told her I would.. and so I did. and I don't really like it, but hopefully she does. if she didn't ask, I never would have drawn this.. so blame her for my shitty art skillz in this :S. hehe.

I got a space in a Nov. 4-21st art exhibit at the Cranbrook Arts District...Im super stoked on that, especially since Ill be able to focus alot on my stuff now that I wont have a job then....

I thought the article was mad crap and it is prompting me to want to be a journalist. Yes....YES......writing good stuff is good....Any other job would just suck. Computer Support Tech? Gag me with a fuckin spoon! Animator? I dont want my passion to become my career. Serial Killer? Too risky and not enough pay. Journalist? Sure!

mayonaise is disgusting. absolutely horribly horrible.
know what else sucks to get up a straw? really thick milkshake. when you just suck and suck and nothing comes up and eventually you get a headache and need to just take the lid off the stupid mcdonalds cup and eat it with.. something like a spoon. your straw.. or maybe your fingers if they're clean and there is REALLY nothing else

heh good because i was in no way insulting... or even referring to your picture, heh. yeah i hate when i get strawberry milkshake and realize the whole damn strawberry is somehow within the straw. then you go to remove it but the old woman in the other booth is looking at you like 'you dirty bastard, you're what's wrong with the world today' and even though she didn't actually say it you have to stand up and go 'hey FUCK YOU OLD LADY, i'm SMARTER than you, i'm FASTER than you, and i have less wrinkles on my PENIS than you!!!
the confusion ends when your buddy at the AA meeting shakes you awake and you go back to your small apartment and crash on the cot, eating popcorn and watching looney tunes.

know what sucks even more then that? is when you have gotten that whole strawberry patch stuck in your straw, and then instead of extricating it, you simply SUCK REALLY HARD. and the strawberry comes flying out of the straw at speeds exceeding 45mph, and smacks you right in the back of the throat, and also has an entire mouthful of milkshake with it, and you choke and spit milkshake all over your best friend who is sitting across from you in the booth talking about her boyfriend or something else that you weren't listening to in your preoccupation with the straw-berry. (pun!)
actually, thats never happened to me, although I can totally, totally see it. and then that lady would STILL give you a weird look, you would yell the same thing, and then realized that since she's a lady, you really made no sense. and then you turn the delicate shade of strawberry pink from all these embarassing events, and hopefully leave the resturant before a staff member comes to see what all these shenanigans are.
and don't forget to go to AA... at least they don't know your name there.

Somewhat reminds me of a little girl in my comic I am working on. She has skin malady that prevents her from being exposed to sunlight without dire consequences. As a result, she becomes very somber and brooding (and develops a fascination for vampires, which children mockingly refer to her as.) Awesome pic, really looks cool. Keep up the good work.

You're lucky that you can copy stuff so precisely, though! i'm terrible at copying things to make them look exact... i'll be the most horrible tattoo artist ever. XP

man.. umbrellas are so wack. seriously, who invented them? they're quite brilliant. I sound so british when I say brilliant. if I lived in NYC which I would like to, I would definately have a black umbrella, because it seems like everyone there does. and I Would want to fit in :S. hehe.
I suck at copying things too actually, it's like a certain MOOD where I can kind of get things to look right, but some artists are hard for me. emily is one of those, she never looks quite right.. oh well, I guessI wouldn't want an exact copy anyways
a tattoo artist would be a cool job I think.. and I think they get to TRACE things which is a lot easier. I need to go get my tattoo adn then I can tell you how they do them

YAY! NYC is fun.. I want to go there.. there aren't many good American cities I don't think, but i like that one, and Seattle especially, and New Orleans..
I find a lot of the time trying to copy other drawings teaches you something, and you can sort of apply it to your own style. it comes in handy!

as silly as it sounds, I'm gonna get the batman symbol between my shoulder blades. not big or anything, just there. it sounds super nerdy, and I've seriously considered NOT doing it, even tho I really really want it.... but I've wanted it for like over a year now, so I'm hoping I won't get sick of it too fast.
and when I'm old and 60 and gross, I don't want anyone to see my back anyways
I have SOO many things I want tattooed on me. I'm only allowed one tho while I still live at home (and NO piercings.. gasp. hehe) but I like the idea of just little patterns. sometimes crop circles would make REALLY cool tattoos.. as incredibly stupid as that sounds :\
know what american city I do NOT like? Houston. we had a 3 hour layaway over there once and I could not STAND it. everyone was so... texan. I couldn't understand a word anyone said, and I SPEAK english. lol. I wouldn't go back if someone paid me

That's cool! I was thinking of getting two black wings on my back too, kind of on my shoulderblades or something.. that's like the best place for a tattoo, because if it turns out like shit, at least you don't have to look at it..

OMFG texas is scary. I had to wait in Dallas for like 2 hours and it was the SAME THING! AHHH! i went to get food and the lady was all "Can I take your order please?" and to this day i have no idea what she said exactly. I just pointed to fries and got the hell out of there. People from New Orleans have funny accents too! They kept making fun of me because i called it "pop" instead of "soda" ..but by the end of the week I had 'em calling it pop too. *giggles evily*
