Hai u gaiz, remember like 800 chapters ago, when Clare had an emotion about something? Stupid boring sexy Clare, stupid dead sexy Jean -_-I had a few ppl ask for Clare or Jean/Clare so yeah...
Was starting this last week, finished the sketch today and did this weird brush/eraser thing to it in SAI.
Hope it's ok for the Jean/Clare fans

Heh I forget about this stuff too. Back when I was experimenting with digital coloring... I still like this as an 'unrequited' or unconsummated pairing. Poor Jean ;_;

heh, as we all have. i randomly go through and destroy the ones that i feel have too many anatomical errors. (actually quite a few of the fatalities. surprising how a broken body still needs anatomy.)

Although, even if Teresa didn't die directly for Clare, I still support that one. Clare was worth it when she was still (completely) human. I'm just a sucker for the almost familiar relationship TeresaxClare has. XD

Regardless, dawww. ^^ I imagine this takes place in her dreams, as she tries to run headfirst into oblivion and death to repent for everyone that died for her, unaware that it's exactly what Jeane doesn't want her to do. It's definitely clear that Clare loves her, though; that pain isn't something that could come out of anything else but a love lost to death. 
In summation, yay Jeane x Clare! This pairing needs more drawings.

Well, Clare is super repressed but she has raging passion inside. It needs a gentle touch and trustworthiness like Jean to rein it in and channel it into something productive and positive, ne?
I always thought CLare is effectively asexual in how she lives (as a claymore, wouldn't be if she was still human), but if she did learn to trust someone like that she would be a monster in bed

I've alwasy had troubling making that pairing 'sexy' in my mind, just b/c of the characters. Jean seems too noble and what not to try something like that, and Clare has a stick up her ass all the time lol, so it's like it has a lot of potential, but was not developed. It would need a good amount of character growth to work up to where it feels right. In the end I think it would work though, if one were to take the right tack with it...
Stupid Clare is so shut off from attaching herself to people, lest they die in front of her eyes (not that I blame her) and never felt/expressed her feelings for Jean until she was dead. Cos Clarrrre needs 50 years of therapy D: But nonetheless it's obvious her feelings were strong from how she reacted.

It'd depend a lot on the execution, but I think the sexiness of that pairing has more to do with their love for one another than with the parts that make up the whole; best way to do it would be an AU where Jeane didn't die and have their relationship build across the seven years they spent together, getting closer and eventually overcoming their hangups to finally realize, and consummate, their love. It'd be more beautiful than sexy, but it'd definitely be lovely...and hot in a different way. XD
Clare's emotional state is understandable, but it does kind of throw a wrench into her getting close to people; it's only when they're in danger that we see how much they mean to her. Deneve certainly didn't help with that, though.

I totally agree without the emotion the sexy is meaningless. It's the devotion that makes it attractive. And Clare doesn't really have that with a lot of characters. Raki doesn't count obv. because it's pedo >_<
Even with him she barely expressed an emotion other than kissing him to make him GTFO, if that counts. I guess it's at least a gesture to someone who isn't yet dead, but doesn't change the fact that he's no older than 14

Rigard was a bitch. He took Jean away from Clare in an instant without a shred of dignity, and neither of them deserved that.
