Description
On December 21, 1973, Lake Erie & Eastern I-2-A Mikado #5193 heads an excursion from Harrisburg PA to Port Jervis NY on LE&E's Line to Port Jervis. The trains' consist is a mix of Penn Central, LE&E, CB&Q, Illinois Central, N&W, & Richmond Peabody & Parker as well as other Railroads. A Few years later, The Lake Erie & Eastern was consolidated into Conrail, ending the 13 year steam program & 5193 was retired & donated to the Lake Erie & Eastern Rail Historical Society in Congers NY.evangaines 2022
