Description On the morning of October 4, 2003, we're back on the Ohio Central outside of Sugarcreek OH to chase GTW U-3-b Confederation #6325 on a Fall Photo Freight for photography sessions to resemble trains the 4-8-4 would've hauled in Revenue service. Soon, we caught the 6325 & her short freight consist racing along through the Ohio Farmland as she performs a photo runby. On this trip, the Northern was fitted with a PRR 3 Chime Steam Whistle off a long scrapped PRR T1 Duplex Locomotive instead of her usual GTW 6 Chime. Although the OHCR usually hauls freight with mainly diesel power to serve multiple industries, it did own & operate a few steam locomotives just for fun & special events. In 2008, however, Jerry Joe Jacobson who founded the Ohio Central in 1988, sold the Railroad to Shortline operator, Genesee & Wyoming which still operates it to this day. As for 6325 & the rest of OHCR's Steam fleet, they would be moved to their current home at the Age of Steam Roundhouse in Sugarcreek, where they remain to this day. One day, 6325 would get the chance to run again, but until that time comes, she'll remain on display for future generations to see.
