Description
So why is it that we draw Sonic with green eyes/lanky legs in all the flashbacks now, but Chuck still has his "SatAM" look...? Ah well, it was fun looking through my back issues of the comic to get references for (New?) Robotropolis. Can anybody guess which issue I used?NEXT PAGE: [link]

YES!!!! I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT COMIC YOU USED!!!!! I can't think of the name... I own it. It's when the freedom fighters finally return to Mobotropolis, Sonic learns of his parents, Robians want their own society, and Sonic and Jeffory St. John duke it out for the princess.

Chuck's not a robot anymore-- all the Robians were changed back to normal, except for those that would not survive the transformation (like Jules). Don't ask me how, I can't remember at the moment.

Ah, I see. This is what happens when I stop subscribing to Archie comics... I miss out on all the cool stuff.
Just to ask though, Jules is Sonic's father in the comic, correct?

Yep! Jules is his dad, Bernie's his mom, and Chuck's his uncle.
I always found the comics' need to give all the main characters their entire families a bit odd...

I think Archie did that because Sega allowed them to have more creative freedom with the characters, and there was a cartoon that did feature Uncle Chuck and most of the present cast in the comic (Not counting the Sonic SatA.M or Sonic Underground, which did show up as a separate parallel universe in the Sonic comic series).

I actually used an original Sonic Super Special issue I had lying around, but yeah it's probably been collected in a Sonic Select book by now!

I believe Chuck's Robian form was first seen in a different Sonic cartoon, Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM.

That Chuck flashback is from specific issue? I have Archives 1-17 and I didn't recognise it.
Also I guess SEGA don't care what you guy's do with SatAM characters however I got SU #42 today (Subscriber) and Classic Sonic appears in a flashback Elias has to issue 70 and the only alteration is he had Brown eyes. Which Canonically he already had.

The Chuck flashback is not specific, it's just Chuck being awesome.
I don't know what the deal is with Sonic's eyes in the comics anymore. Last I heard, the rule was we always make his eyes green, whatever the situation. But it sounds like that might be out the window... Who knows. it's not really important.
