Description I'm really happy with that third panel there (so happy I reused it in GOTF issue 11!)

You guys get nice big high quality scans on this issue, courtesy of Archie's scanners!

God this is just so fantastic I love it even with Terry Austin's inks ruining it. Okay harsh I know but I'm not a fan of his jagged inking style.

Wait?  your working for Archie or something?

Yup! I've been working at Archie for the last three years. I don't post a whole lot of my work for them here, but that's the reason (along with more school) that GOTF's gotten so sporadic.

Oh wow.  there more archie workers on DA than I though   Well that's cool.  but your work is awsome, so no doubts to it.  And Darkspeeds is trying to make his way there.  I hope he makes it.

Yup, there's a whole bunch of us! Actually if you're curious, Matt Herms posted a journal entry recently that happens to have links to I think everybody with a DA account. fav.me/d6x0ciu

Yeah I watch him too.

So what it like working there?  is it a job that you would want to keep forever?

I work from home, so process-wise it's basically the same as working on GOTF except I get paid. But through I'm an entry-level freelance artist working part-time, I'm definitely not there for the money (I actually forgot to ask to be paid on my last job, and had to me reminded). But I love the work, and when I do get a chance to hang out with any of my co-workers it's a ton of fun. I'm hoping I'll be able to keep working there part-time for many years, and depending on what job opportunities arise after I'm out of school I might try to work there full-time-- if they'll have me, of course.

I can't overstate how much I enjoy making comics, though. And getting to work with my favorite characters and world, and the people I've emulated and admired for years is a dream come true.

I'd probably like to work there one day. If I ever improve my drawings. I'm trying to draw a comic to prove myself. I never knew either.

You have to be real good to be able to make art a job.

Well there been many times that I could not get on line for long periods and my messages stacked so much I could not read them all, well journals anyway.  Always gota read the comments or notes.  many times people ask questions and I want to answer them.  but normaly I do read journals.

(Goes back to look at GOTF issue 11 and sees panel 1 of comic) I see what you did there now... You just changed the character and removed the rain.

The mental pain and confusion that Sonic's going through here - you nailed the expression.

AND YES! ASS-SHOT in the middle panel! Woot!

The last two panels - excellent. Again Sonic and Tails are drawn from different angles and you put a lot of thought on not only their actions and expressions but the spacial relationship between the two at all times. Great dynamics.

See a few Biolizard similarities, but that's probably just coincidence.
