Okida's whole sentence turned from sad to funny why?

Just because I like to nitpick I'm going to question how Tikal was able to use Chaos energy to create the warp ring if the machine shouldn't let any escape.Β
And kudos for making me feel sorry for a character I ordinarily can't stand. I've never quite liked this version of Tikal for a number of reasons, yet this time not only did she have an interesting role, but it was a tragic one too. For the moment, anyway. We'll see if she gets rescued later.
