Tintin, reportedly is a reporter. The only time he is ever seen doing any work is in Land of the Soviets the rest of the time I like to think he goes on adventures to avoid doing any actual work.Captain Haddock can sometimes be responsible. That, or if he's not allowed to drink Tintin has to do some effing writing!

Tintin is like flapjack in a sense like from the misadventures of Flapjack. Even those it's Adventures of Tintin for the obvious reason, I could see Tintin really wanting to go on more adventures round the world till there is no more adventure left. Like leave no Country UNEXPLORED. I definitely see Tintin in that high regard. But also this reminds me of the sponge on close reference or not when Spongebob has to write and procrastinate the entire time.Β
But still awesome work on this piece and for Tintin in some ways id tell him.Β
"You can go looking for Adventure. Or Adventure can go looking for you". Just something to say is all on that part

I love seeing Tintin as less of the perfect character he always tended to be portrayed as. This is why I totally want then to make a new show.

I'd love that too. In the comics he was too brash and clumsy, and that never really transferred to the programme. I bloody loved it though!Β

drawing him reporting panel after panel (or frame after frame, if we're talking TV show or the movie) would be boring to everyone XDD watcher AND tintin!Β
Though, in the beginning of the recent movie it shows a bunch of articals he's written from past adventures..... You see them all over the walls
he probably writes them while he's on the plane/train/car rides between adventuring/being kidnapped/knocked out/etc

Haha yes I know it would be incredibly bad for the pacing to actually show him doing his articles. It does reference them in the film, you're right, but not really so much in the original comics. It didn't have to, I know. It told us 'he's a journalist' and we had to nod and assume he did it off-screen. It never shows him going to the toilet either, but I know he'd probably do that too.
I suppose that's why I like to imagine that he's a restless teenager who goes to all these crazy places to avoid any work.Β
