While this card is face-up on the field: This card cannot be destroyed by battle, if the attacking monster is Dragon-Type and your opponent cannot activate the effects “Dragon Ruler” Monster Cards. You take no battle damage between this card. This card is unaffected by your opponent’s card effects.

I like the artwork and I think it would make an awesome card, but isn't it's effect to OP? It can't be destroyed by battle and is unaffected by card effects, shouldn't it at least just be can't be targeted and it gains X amount of attack if battling a dragon type monster rather not destroyed? That would still counter the E-dragons and make him immune to both Big-eye and Dragosack.

It's only unaffected by the effects of the opponent.
And It can be destroyed by battle, but it can't be against destroyed by Dragon-type.
This situation is those kinds of situations that force the players to run other things. Like for example, Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning was a big card. But now where is it? No one use it.
