This entry might seem a little odd to some, as I don't really ever do fan art. I was bored one time, though, and decided to draw up some of the monsters from the game Starbound. I can't tell you how many hours I have spent playing that game, as there is something so gosh darn relaxing about it. Yeah, it is bit of a more cartoonier style than the stuff I do, but I just figured I would have some fun drawing these critters.

Yeah! Despite the cartoonier look, they had some really neat monster designs that I really enjoyed.

The RNG monsters are cool as well!
I like how the Erchius Horror, the Ixodoom and Asra Nox drop weapons that are parts of themselves or in the later's case, the weapon she wields, along with the other weapons, they all allow you to replicate the attacks of bosses.
I got excited for the Dark S- I mean the Ancient Vaults and they are excellent to test your skills and give life to old unique weapons. I had a lot of fun with the upgraded Erchius Eye.
And with the latest update I can play Space Invaders and Asteroids at the same time!
I can't wait to become a bounty hunter.

There are some pretty neat combos that come out of the RNG monsters!
I always love it when bosses drop weapons or parts of theirs. There is something satisfying about it, like taking a trophy from your kill. The Erchius Eye is definitely one of my favorites from the bunch, the second being the dragon bone pistol. I enjoyed the upgrading mechanic of the vaults so much that I would constantly do vault runs so that I could upgrade every single unique weapon there was, even the ones I didn't use that often. It is probably because I am one of those people that needs to collect every weapon, every armor and every piece of everything in a game. That only makes those action figures even more infuriating to get!
That sounds super fun! I have not had a chance to play the update yet, as I am quite busy, but I can't wait to give it a try! The bounty hunter one sounds super fun too!
I have not played with any mods. I have just done the vanilla version, though there are definitely some cool ones out there!

I think they are adorable too! Those are Poptops, and I am pretty sure they are one of the mascot monsters of the game.
