I was going to wait to upload this until later, after I finished another vector image I've been working on, but I've decided to go ahead and upload it now.

Reference Photo

I did not feel like drawing the rose she is holding in the photo, so I left that out.

Media = Adobe Illustrator CS4

Tools / features used in Illustrator:

Pen tool; gradient mesh; pathfinder (divide); blur filter (on parts of the hair, one shadow on the chest); clipping masks (two places in the hair)

Hair: these brushes by Deviant Art member Jimro (thank you, Jimro!)

"Live Trace" was not used on any part of the drawing.

Photoshop was used only to re-size the vector drawing, and I added my name to the lower left using Photoshop. The drawing itself (Uma's face, torso, hands, hair, etc) was all done in Illustrator.

Please do not use this drawing without my permission.

Any Deviant Art groups I submit this to obviously do have my permission to place this in their galleries.
I also do not object to any Deviant Art members adding this to their Deviant Art collections or Deviant Art "favorite" collection(s), and Deviant Art obviously has my permission to have this art on their server(s).
