AP PORTFOLIO: Theme was mechanical world, mechanics of society....materialism.....crap like that. SYMBOLISM ALL OVER THE PLACE.Literally an urban jungle, with blue birds and pipes and everything!

The colors are perfect,
it's definately flawless in MY eyes, and I love how you can see the canvas texture here, I'm sure it looks even better in person. The way you did the metal on the pipes is so cool, and the whole painting has a sort of calming effect with all the shades of grey and blue.

A brilliant oicture! Everything goes so very well together and only the blue colour of the birds and their *cuteness* stand out against the dull grey world, consisting of pipes and concrete.

I like this. The birds are so alive and bright against all those pipes. It reminds me of the sparrows you see nesting in supermarket signs. They always make me hopeful that no matter how bad humanity screws up the world, nature can take it back more quickly than we'll ever know.

This fits perfectly the theme you were aiming at. I can see how this could relate to the \"mechanical world;\" how birds used to enjoy themselves in nature itself, until that world - their world - has been taken away from them and now force to live in a world so monotonous and without beauty. I think you did a wonderful job. Hope you got a good score on the APs, though I don\'t know how they work in this kind of subject.
