Collings Foundation P-51C Mustang 42-103293 taxiing in after landing at Tacoma Narrows Airport WA.Note the extra windows. This acft was offering rides for over $3000.00 an hour!

Yes. P-51B's were built in North American's plant in Inglewood CA, The P-51C was built in North American's plandt in Dallas TX. Otherwise the two were identical. The TP-51 was a mod of the acft to add a second seat.

HAHA! $3000? If I had that much to blow, I think I've got enough money to seriously look into getting one of my own. Nice plane though. Neat to see one of the older models and not the later war models.

red tail means it was from Tuskegee... the "experiment" of the african american pilots in WWII, with a separate base in Italy to escort the bombers going to Germany and Eastern Europe
