Another new art program, another new piece of art! For Christmas I bought Aseprite on Steam, and I'm really loving it.
I don't think it'll be great for tilesets, but it has a much better interface for animating pixels and general art.
This is Arai - A character that is still a work in progress. (...which one of my characters isn't? XD) She's a 'poison Hylotl' who after an unfortunate event
became a ruthless Space Pirate. She's the oldest of 3 daughters, and is very rebellious. She was kicked out of her parents' house for constantly getting in trouble
(getting arrested, hanging around unfavourable people, etc) and so she left her home planet COMPLETELY and went somewhere else. But a radioactive/poisonous
asteroid(yes yes I know, I'm working on her story. XD) hit the ocean of the place she was living, and changed the landscape of the planet... Very few survived.
Arai was one of those unlucky souls. She was alone for quite a few years, so when some explorers came down to examine the place, she stole their ship and started pirateering.
...again, she's still wip. >w>
Her colours aren't final - I was using a palette for most of these colours. She's in general purple-and-green, but I haven't found the right shades yet. I def. prefer her body being
purple instead of green. >>
So what do you guys think? Do I really need to keep stop creating so many characters? XD hehehe

Looks cool, I'm also liking the purple body and green hair. Also interested to know what you have for the middle of the three.
It seems like your characters are coming along nicely and depending on what you're going to do with them (if you do end up doing something) you might need all of them and more.

Thanks! Yes, I've been meaning to sketch out some more designs for the three of them.
To be honest, I don't currently have much of a purpose for all these characters, though they all do have a story.
I just need to figure out how to share those stories, hehe. ^^
